Soderling and Chardy take titles

Robin Soderling won the title on his home turf today at the Catella Swedish Open as he defeated Juan Monaco in straight sets. The score was 63 76(4) and it marked the first time a Swedish player won the title since 2000, when Soderling's coach Magnus Norman took the title. This is Soderling's fourth career title and he won it in superb fashion by not dropping a single set in the whole tournament.
In Stuttgart, fourth seeded Victor Hanescu was upset by Frenchman Jeremy Chardy as he won his first title on the tour. It took him 3 sets took defeat Hanescu and take their head-to-head to a score of 2-1 to Chardy. The score was 16 63 64, so Chardy claims 71,700 Euros and 150 points.

Well done to both!
