Former world number one Rafael Nadal has stated that he will return to action in the Montreal Masters on August 10, and is set to start training on Monday.
The Spaniard's last loss came at the French Open against eventual finalist Robin Soderling in the fourth round, and he was forced to miss Wimbledon because of tendinitis in his knees, which caused him to lose his number one ranking since Federer reclaimed the title once again.
"I am really looking forward to practice again," the 23-year-old told his official website."The event in Montreal is important and I expect to be there fit to play."
