Dmitry Tursunov had a successful start at the Indianapolis tournament as he beat Marcos Daniel of Brazil with a shining score of 63 63. Tursunov is the top seed and is now in the third round and will face Franc Dancevic of Canada.
Nikolay Davydenko was on track as well, when he dispatched last week's Mercedes Open winner Jeremy Chardy also with a score of 63 63. Last week's Catella Swedish Open winner Robin Soderling was also dismissed this time by Nicolas Almagro of Spain, who lost to the Swede in their two last encounters. He won with a score of 75 63.
