Dmitry Tursunov is one match away from winning the AEGON International after cruising past Guillermo Garcia-Lopez with a score of 62 62. He will meet Canadian qualifier Frank Dancevic who took his opportunity after beating French legend Fabrice Santoro with a score of 64 64. Santoro is scheduled to depart from his tennis career after this season has ended.

Wildcard Raemon Sluiter who is ranked 866 in the world, has become the lowest ranked player in the history of tennis to reach an ATP Tour final. The Dutch player has just come out of retirement from the sport after retiring in February 2008, and everything is going his way right now after he won in a three setter today. He will play against German Benjamin Becker in the final tomorrow.
