Hewitt surprises No. 5 seed in straight sets; Murray makes great win on Day 4 in London

Day 4 at the All England Club saw many many great matches being played, as No. 3 seed Andy Murray showed confidence and demolished Ernests Gulbis, while No. 5 seed Juan Martin del Potro crashed out of Wimbledon after being defeated by Lleyton Hewitt in straigh sets.
Murray looked solid in his match against the Latvian, having saved break points in his first service game, the 22 year old was never troubled again as he hit 11 aces and won 59 of 71 service points.
“I thought I played well,” said Murray. “I served really well for the whole match. Apart from the very first game where he had a couple of chances on my serve, I didn't give him another break point. I used my variety very well. It was much, much better than the first match [against Robert Kendrick]. I stayed focused on my own serve. [I] didn't give him any opportunities. It was very solid.”
Hewitt was in his best form against del Potro, and showed tremendous tennis, winning to the Argentine with a score of 63 75 75.
“I executed perfectly,” said Hewitt. “[I] hit the ball great. Served unbelievable for most of the match [and I] took it to him right from the start. It was a big win. I wanted to beat a top five guy. These are the places you want to do it, too.”
No. 6 seed Andy Roddick was also on the winning list on Thursday, as he ousted Igor Kunitsyn in four sets, 64 62 36 62.
“A win is a win,” said Roddick. “I knew I was getting the better of him. I knew I was getting a lot more looks at his serve than he was at mine. [I] probably played my best set by far in the fourth set. It was comfortable most of the time. [A] couple things here and there, but overall it was all right.”
