David Ferrer made progress at the Ordina Open today as he demolished one of his compatriots Oscar Hernandez with a score of 64 63. The number 4 player in Spain will now play in the quarters of the event and is looking to defend his title.
Second seeded at the AEGON International, Dmitry Tursunov struggled through his second round match today as he was battling against a qualifier and the crowd's favorite Alex Bogdanovic of Great Britain. The Russian lost the first set in a tiebreaker which Bogdanovic won 7-2, got his rhythm back in the second to take it 64 and pushed through another tiebreaker in the third which he won 7-5. It was definitely not a piece of cake but hopefully Tursunov will pick up his game to prove himself in the quarterfinals.
