Federer and Djokovic progress as Cilic wins a blockbuster


Roger Federer showed his A-Game today as he went up against last week's Eastbourne semifinalist Guillermo Garcia-Lopez. The Swiss player showed no mercy as he won the match in straight sets with a score of 62 62 64. Novak Djokovic also advanced with a straight set win over German qualifier Simon Greul. The Serb showed top class tennis to knock the German ou with a score of 75 61 64.
The most entertaining match so far was contested by Marin Cilic and Sam Querrey. Querrey showed his edge in the first and second sets, but Cilic stepped up to the plate to claim his win in a thrilling 5 setter which left the crowd in awe. The score was 46 76(3) 63 67(4) 64 in the Croats favor.
