Roger Federer packed up all the good stuff today and showed superb tennis to beat rival Andy Murray in straight sets. Federer showed effortless winners throughout the first set to take it 62, but then showed a bit of tightness with Murray picking up momentum. In the end it was Federer who was the more consistent and could hold his nerve better of the two and booked his place in the final with a score of 62 76(8). His opponent in the final will be Novak Djokovic, who gave Rafael Nadal a wake-up call and beat him with an easy score of 61 64. Rafa didn't look comfortable from the start and Djokovic kept on attacking and attacking to make this year's Cincy final.
Federer and Djokovic have a head-to head record of 7-4 in Federer's favor.
Good luck to both of the champions!
May the best player win!
