Davydenko shocked by Querrey
Top seeded Nikolay Davydenko let himself down today after he had 2 break point chances to lead 5-4 on serve in the last set against America's second best player Sam Querrey. Sam Querrey took a dramatic turn to win his serve in that game and also then broke the Russian in a love-game to get himself to the semis of the event in New Haven. The score was 63 36 64 and Sam Querrey is looking to win the Olympus US Open Series and have a chance to play for an extra $1 million at NYC next week. He will play Jose Acasuso in the semis, while the other semi will have Fernando Verdasco and Igor Andreev battle it out for a spot in the final.
