Rafael Nadal booked his place in the third round of the Sony Ericsson today after beating Teimuraz Gabashvili. The Spaniard did not disappoint the Miami crowd as he converted 5 of 9 break points and dropped just five points on his first serve to wrap up victory in 82 minutes. Nadal enters this tournament aiming for his 14th Masters title, while his best result in this tournament has been runner-up (2005, 2008).
Andy Murray shared the same fortune as he showed a bit of rust in defeating Juan Monaco of Argentina 46 63 62.
