Federer gets to 4th round; Monfils wins challenge

Roger Federer kept on lifting his confidence as he moved into the fourth round in Miami by defeating Nicolas Kiefer for the 11th straight time. Federer did not drop a break in the 70 minute encounter, and also converted four of six break point opportunities to record victory. The score was 64 61 and the head-to-head is now 12-3 in Federer's over the 29 year old Kiefer.
While the main talk of the day is Gael Monfils' miraculous win over Marat Safin. Safin had 5-3, 40-15 match point in the last set and could make his first or second chance at victory. Monfils ended up wrapping up victory with a score of 57 75 76(3) in 2 hours 53 minutes, saving 2 matchpoints. Bravo!..... Monfils was not happy with his performance according to the after-match interview.
