Federer and Murray set up semifinal clash

Roger Federer playing his first tournament since losing the Aussie Ope3n final eased through the first set over Fernando Verdasco, and looked to be cruising through the second as he was up 4-1. But Verdasco managed to break Federer twice to take a 6-5 lead. Federer then held his nerve to win the tiebreak 7-5. The final score was 63 76(5).
Earlier that day, Andy Murray took to the court against Ivan Ljubicic and showed great mentality as he took the first set 75 after breaking Ljubicic in the 11th game and holding his own serve. The next set saw both players exchange breaks, but Murray stayed composed to win the tiebreak and the match 75 76(6).

Murray will face Federer on Saturday.
