Mardy Fish triumphed today at the Delray Beach Championships by beating Russian Evgeny Korolev. This win for Fish marks the first time in the 17 year history of the tournament, that the top seed won the title. Fish won with a score of 75 63.
"Today was one of those matches where you just want to get off the court with a win," Fish said. "It was like I don't care what the score is, I don't care what it looks like, I just want to get off this court with a win."
"I'm happy to win this tournament. I love coming down here and my family were able to be here -- my mom, my dad and my sister -- they're never able to travel. And it was nice to have [my wife] see how it feels for me to win it."
