Nadal blows away Murray for the title

World number one Rafael Nadal showed his great form once again as he completely thrashed British number one Andy Murray. The winds were a test for both the finalist as well as the champion in the Californian desert, but Nadal was the quicker to adapt. The Spaniard ran away with the first set in 41 minutes, and though Murray gained a bit of confidence in the start of the second set, he became more frustrated with the winds and Nadal took advantage of the situation. Nadal took victory in 1 hour 20 minutes with the score being 61 62. This is Nadal's 13th Masters title.
