Superb Djokovic and Murray into final in Miami

Novak Djokovic gave former world number one Roger Federer a big surprise by beating him today, even with a 2-7 head to head record. It is now a 7-3 head to head record in Federer's favor, but today Djokovic definitely outwitted Federer. Federer had a 5-1 lead in the first set, then allowing Djokovic take two more games because of his miss-timing of the ball, especially from the forehand side which also set the tone for the rest of the match. The second set was taken by Djokovic with a 6-2 score. The last set saw Federer smash his racquet in a rare outburst of anger, which then allowed Djokovic to take advantage of the situation and seal victory after Federer made another forehand error wide. The final score was 36 62 63.
Djokovic will face Andy Murray in the final who also had to pull off a hard fought win against Juan Martin del Potro who beat Rafael Nadal yesterday. Murray won the clash 61 57 62. Djokovic has an advantage of a 4-2 lead in the head to head record going into the final on Sunday.
