Juan Carlos Ferrero finally got the taste of victory after nearly six years without a title. Ferrero won the title in Casablanca today by defeating fifth seeded Florent Serra 64 75, making him the lowest ranked player to win a tour title this year. He was ranked 115th on the rankings list but will now be ranked 75th in the world according to next week's ranking list.
Lleyton Hewitt also had a taste of victory as he defeated American hope Wayne Odesnik in the final at Houston. The Australian showed confidence as he took the first set 62, but the American stepped up his game in the second set only to be denied the title, which Hewitt took with a score of 62 75.
The Monte Carlo Masters are next on the tournament schedule, so stay tuned!
