Djokovic defends Dubai title in a rain delayed final

Novak Djokovic successfully defended his Dubai title by beating Mikhail Youzhny in a rain delayed final. The Russian was on a roll in this tournament after winning the Rotterdam title last week and was going in to the match with plenty of momentum, but Djokovic stopped his run by defeating him in a tight 3-setter. Djokovic was going into the match after several three-set matches and once again produced his magic to win 75 57 63.
While in Acapulco, David Ferrer got the better of Juan Carlos Ferrero by beating him to win the title with a score of 63 36 61. After exploding onto the scene in 2008 and and not producing much results in 2009 Ernests Gulbis also earned a title in Delray Beach by defeating Ivo Karlovic in two easy sets of 62 63.
